Participation

You may enroll at selected Johns Hopkins facilities or the Baltimore City Health Department Clinics.

In addition to the enrollment visit, we will ask you to see us for follow-up visits four more times over the next year. These visits will take about 30 minutes and will be at the Bayview campus.

At each visit, you will be asked to complete questionnaires involving general, oral and reproductive health information. You will also be asked to provide vaginal swabs, blood and urine samples.

During the two weeks before each visit, you will be asked to complete a daily diary and collect vaginal swabs four times.

You will receive $50 for each visit that you complete, including the enrollment visit.
