Biography:
Victoria Adams-Sommer, Pharm.D., BCPS, is a clinical pharmacy specialist in infectious diseases. She earned a doctor of pharmacy degree at The State University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy. After graduation, she completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, followed by a PGY-2 Infectious Diseases Residency at The Clement J. Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a member of the Antimicrobial Utilization Review Committee and Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee, Dr. Adams works to assist in the effort to ensure the efficacious and safe use of antimicrobials. Her interests include antimicrobial stewardship and gram-negative bacteria resistance.
