Biography:
Saranya Seetharaman received her medical degree (MBBS) from Manipal University, India. She earned her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the epidemiology and biostatistics track with a strong focus on clinical research. She also holds a certificate in Healthcare Epidemiology and Infection Prevention and Control; and a certificate in Clinical Trials from Johns Hopkins University. While pursuing her MPH, Saranya worked as an Intern at Jhpiego, Baltimore and additionally as a data abstractor in the International Vaccine Access Center at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is passionate about using her background as a physician and her training in research methodology to develop evidence-based healthcare practices targeted at improving healthcare quality and patient safety.
